CSMVS Museum Art Conservation Centre aims to spearhead heritage conservation-restoration, research & development, and training in India as well as in other nations in the region, through its work, as well as by encouraging collaborations and sharing of expertise.
State-of-the-art conservation was conceptualized keeping utility of the space and requirements of a functional Art Conservation lab which includes Introduction and Accession area, Lab, Photography studio and supporting services such as a dedicated Washing and Material Preparation room. Aesthetics of the space is kept light and airy with focus on the objects to be conserved.
