Nandini Sampat was invited to speak at 'Museums & the City'
A collaborative workshop of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) and The Lakshmi Mittal & Family South Asia Institute, Harvard University
Nandanii spoke about how she developed the design from concept to the physical three dimensional exhibition , India and the world. The design and materials are influenced by the history and culture of India and the world.
The concept of the workshop was revolved around the city as a sacred landscape in which we live, learn, and communicate with others. The aim was to explore how museums could potentially create an expanded culture of civic life that represents and nurtures the diverse and plural sensibilities of those with whom they share space.
