Godrej House: A Design Language in Harmony with the Landscape
The design of the house responds to the steep slope of the site and its surrounding landscape. The building's form follows the natural contours of the land, blending seamlessly with its environment. Continuous horizontal lines and cantilevered volumes frame expansive views; while soaring roofs provide shade and reduce heat gain.
The dynamic interplay of solid and void, with open decks and large glazing, created a transparent connection between the interior and exterior. The design balances mass and transparency, offering a harmonious living experience within the landscape.
